Being separated from God is terrifying...
Sin will do that
But Grace can brings us back to his presence which is the only true safe place to be is in Gods arms.
When Jesus was separated from his Father at calvary for the one moment it was the worst moment of his earthly Life and he yelled
"Father Father why have you forsaken me"
so it is for us who walk with God when we feel distant from him.
Living and walking in the spirit helps us maintain that close relationship with God we need as Christians.
