While there is yet breath within my lungs
While there is still voice to my words
While I can still speak and sing and cry out your name

How Long?

How long we wait for your mercy to be complete.
How long we wait for your forgiveness to be whole.
How long we wait for the dawn of righteousness to rise with healing in his wings.

How long we wait for you O God.

Yet a little while and you will come.
Yet a little while and you will deliver us.
Yet a little while and we will see the salvation you bring.

Till then Almighty God and Father of us All
